Description

This is one of Seagate's second generation Constellation hard drives. It has a 3.31W power output, making it highly energy efficient. In the long run this will help reduce your costs to run your IT infrastructure. The transfer speeds are lightning quick with a SATA 6.0GB/s interface. 1 Terabyte of capacity is more than plenty for the average user and still plenty for an enterprise level. This hard drives runs at 7200RPM, not the fastest, but it won't be noticeably different to the average user.

For such a large hard drive, I don't notice any slowdowns when I'm searching for files or folders. It's worth the money IMO.

I use an SSD for my OS and this hard drive for storage. It's not as quick as the SSD, but it's not a big deal. Does its job as a storage drive.
