High speed read and write and on top of that enterprise class reliability with the flash memory. Its like those old hard drives back in the day that were based on ram chips, except if power was cut off to them they would lose all their data. These are made from a special MLC flash type chip and are extremely reliable.

We use these in some of our enterprise class servers where speed and performance matters. There's a reason why Solid is given name to this solid state drive, because it doesnt mess around. 200 gigs is all you need something like an application server where the code doesn't take up much room. Even then 200 gigs can fit a boat load of pics and videos and what not.


I love this thing dude, its lightening lightning fast. When you have a drive that can transfer over half a gigabyte in 1 second is outrageous.
